What a great looking Pirate Costume! This Pirate Costume doesn’t have many reviews but the reviews it does have are glowing. Very high quality with strong seams and durable material. I could see your little boy toddler never wanting to take this Pirate Costume off.  Because it is a jumpsuit, this costume allows for warm clothes to be worn, which is great when the weather starts getting pretty cold. You can pretty much count on it being cold by the end of October.

The stripes are strong and masculine.  The sash gives a very authentic look to the outfit, and what pirate costume is complete without a manly head scarf to really bring out the terror of the seven seas?

Of course, most pirates were Rogues, not interested in aligning themselves with anyone.  Generally outcasts that kept to themselves and stayed among their own kind, pirates would often use a back door policy when attacking a village.  The harbors where usually well fortified but the rear of a village or town was less so, therefore lending an easier means of taking over and plundering the it.

This amazing Pirate Costume really caught my eye when I was looking for a good girl pirate costume. Most girl pirate costumes have a complete lack of modesty or quality, you rarely find both. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my 4 year old looking like she’s working a street corner. Much better that she looks like she raided a village and plundered its goods, right?  In any case, this kids pirate costume looks like it would keep any toddler nice and warm.

What really caught my eye was the details on this dress. One reviewer mentioned, “People thought I had it professionally made because of all the detail that went into the costume. It is an amazing costume and I can’t believe that it included everything – the only thing I added was a sword!” That is exactly what I was thinking!

Anne Bonney, while not a moral person, was one of the two most famous girl pirates to have lived in the 1700’s. Ferocious and cunning, she also fell in love twice. After her first love and husband turned into an informant, Anne left him, not willing to be married to a coward. Her second husband was the famous “Calico Jack” for whom she bore two children.

Here is a great pirate costume for that adventuresome toddler in your life.  This pirate costume captures the heart of the true buccaneer.  Always out to sea, these pirates would often perform illegal acts without support from their government but there were times when they received letters of authority from their governing country authorizing them to attack their enemies.  This most often was because of trade issues and so these pirates would be strongly encouraged to stop once relations with the opposing country improved.

The scarfs and bandannas pirates wore enabled them to continue working while keeping their heads warm.  Nearly every pirate costume you’ll find these days includes a bandanna or hat.  Since winter is coming, and in most places in the US it is getting pretty cold by the end of October, the bandanna and hat, along with the long sleeve polyester shirt and the pants, will make for a warm night of plundering neighbors’ candy treasure.
